Project Management
Project Management is often driven by delivery of projects to time, cost and quality and at times the needs of the cultural heritage elements can play second place to that of new build and more architectural elements. HPM provides a level of project management which balances the cultural heritage elements, its conservation needs and best practice implementation against the wider project delivery. With an understanding of both modern project delivery techniques and conservation management HPM is able to deliver a level of service to ensure that the heritage is safeguarded for the future and delivering the required project goals.
HPM recently completed the project management of the Brunel Institute in Bristol for the ss Great Britain Trust. This project balanced the needs of the historic engine shed and the requirements of delivering a new BS5454 archive and learning facility for the Trust. This was the latest appointment to the ss Great Britain Trust and follows from the Project Management of the main conservation and development works to the ship herself.
